hahak...finally..OPKIM KEDAH 2010 has come to its end this mornin'..wid Y.B Shahanim as the VIP for its closing ceremony..this year's OPKIM 4 PERMADAH was held in a new permanent rehab for 26 December 2004 tsunami victims at Taman Permatang Katong, Kota Kuala Muda, Kedah Darul Aman..since this was my 1st time to Kedah...the whole journey was an excitement 4 me..hahak... lets talk about Taman Permatang Katong itself 1st...huh...dis taman was built 2 replace the temporary settlement 4 the victims in which they were located into a 10 doors 'rumah panjang' per block....perghh...imagine how it feel?living juz like inside a sardine can for 2 years?!i can't imagine how dis people can stand the situation...



The Tsunami Tragedy had changed their lives totally...ive went to the tsunami gallery last 2 days...where they showed all pics of the disaster...fuhhh....kesian wooo...feel like crying when vsiting to the houses and the remains left by tsunami in 2004...i don knoe what'd i do if i'm in their shoes....



11...official number of deaths in kota kuala muda....last night...the community of Taman Permatang Katong showed us pictures n videos of tsunami.really hard to say..sadness strikes my heart when one of the victims alive was together wid us dat night telling us the story how he'd survive the massive wave..he lost 2 of his beloved daughters....



People of Taman Permatang Katong are extremely friendly...honestly saying...on the very 1st day.jz as we arrived..i don feel like staying wid 'keluarga angkat'...bcoz im not use 2 live in others house..together wid me staying in dis fmily was Nizar or in kedah dialect Niza',shahrin or ca'in, Helmi or mie...and farid...hehehe...but,everything changed when i found out that my adopted parents are really2 kind and friendly..let me tell u a lill bit of this fmily..my abah's name was Halim...so, we called him..'abah halim'...hehehe...n our mama's name was siti...so, we called her 'mak'...they had 7 sons...n all of them are really friendly...but i felt sorry for the lost of their 1st son 'Along' who died last month due to a myterious disease most probably 'santau'......May Allah bless him.. Actually dozens of activities was planned 4 this OPKIM, among them r the TSUNAMI REVIEW, SEPETANG D LAUT, KENDURI RAKYAT, SUKAN MESRA, BLOOD DONATION n MEDICAL INSPECTION, FORUM PERDANA EHWAL ISLAM, VISIT TO PANTAI MERDEKA, MOTIVATION n SMART SOLAT CAMP...and many others...





I'd like 2 thank ALLAH THE ALMIGHTY 4 making our program run fluently....thank u ALLAH...and all the community members of Taman Permatang Katong especially 2 MR YUSOOF AWANG, MR ANWAR, MAK LANG, MAK ANDAK (TANTER) who gave us all the support we needed throughout the entire OPKIM '10..

As 4 all the committee members of PERMADAH n the organizer of OPKIM 2010...THANK YOU...this is a memory of a life time!!!
