Surat Yunus:92
So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless
It was said in the Holy Quran itself...story of the Pharaoh..how the body was preserved by god so that it could be seen an taken as lesson for all human kind...
Ayman, our guide said a fact that the pyramid here in giza was built by Khufu (if im not mistaken)...here, there are 3 from hundreds of pyramids which were spread all over Egypt and neighboring region...and pyramid Khufu was the biggest one to be discovered here....

Me wid Ucu...at Masjid Al-Azhar
Wahh...who believes....its already our 2nd week here in Egypt...not really bad huh...yet, still a lot to learn...dis week we got our chances to ride the buses and Metro to Kulliyyah....hahaha...thank god our class here starts at 11...still got chance to 'buang apa yg patut' before going to school..hehehe
having a pic at Masjid Al-Azhar
To ease down the flow..e're divided into 4 groups...each with 7-8 members..Me...Ryzal..Raudhah...Farihah...Adilah...Hafizah and Fazilah...Alhamdulillah...no big problems appears as days passes...hehehe...
Syeikh al-Azhar
Last Friday we got lucky for being able to perform our Jumaat prayers at the prestigious Jami' Al-Azhar (Al-Azhar Mosque)...hearing the khutbah from the Syeikh al-Azhar makes our hearts tremble....each words which comes out from his mouth is full of ideas and inspiration...Masha Allah...
Masjid al-Azhar interior look
KUSYARI everyone!!
Later then...KUSYARI...we ate kusyari right in front of Jami' Al-Azhar...cheap...fast...and of course...fills our tummies...hahahaha...
Next is Khan el-Khalili time...or what we call in Malaysia as 'Pasar Seni'....with my little brother as our Musyrif (guide)...we got into Egypt's oldest bazaar...hahaha...
Ariff (ucu)...our Musyrif
Yallah ya rai's..yallah ya brins(prince)..yallah ya mama..yallah ya rigal..
macam2 ada..
shawls...
petola kering also got ka??!ahahahaha..
Really funny...rite??....but...u should still be aware of this tricky Arabs....Khan el-Khalili is also known as home where many 'cheaters' lives...hahaha..As for today...we manage to get there once more....buying our own goods...I got myself a nice Moroccan Jubah (Jubah yang ade tutup kpala mcm ahli sihir tu..) for only Le55...together wid Al-Ustaz..with his abilities in 'psychology'....(kononnya)...'fi hunaka khamsun faqot'..padahal kat sne Le 65...hahaha...finally this Pak Arab agreed to sell us dat fine Jubah for only Le 55...Alhamdulillah..
Other thing happen to our good frien Rijal....seems dat he's having bad luck since arrival...(xpa jal..sabar k...)...jz now...he got cheated by an Arab...pulling his hands inside his shop...then forcing him (Rijal) to pay...dah la pak Arab ni amik wallet die...siap cek2 plak duit orang....arghhh....poor Rijal...
BEWARE OF PICK-POCKETS!!!
Another thing here in Khan el-Khalili is....PICK POCKETS...you should always beware of your personal and valuable belongings....put your wallets in your up-front pocket...and dont show your money to all people...as it may attract vicious Arabs (those jahat one la..)...hahahaha...

Outside the DMAK (Dewan Malaysia Abbasiah Kaherah) or formerly known as ARMA (Asrama Malaysia) are 2 vans (usually TOYOTA HIACE)....hehe....driven by 2 pak Arabs..
Here in Cairo, people called this vans TRAMCO instead of vans...TRAMCO's are one of the most easy to find public transportation.....hehhe....i dont think i'm gonna talk much about this tramco thing....i'll just post it later...
Yesterday i've been mumbling about Metro...and today....still on the public transportation topic...THE BUS....
THE RED BUS..new one LE1 per ride
THE GREEN BUS..LE0.5 (Nusf') per ride...
Hehehe...actually the bus is one of the oldest transportation used throughout Egypt since no one can tell...hehe...above are pictures of buses operating within Cairo...the GREEN one, and the RED one....both are going to same destination...what matters is just that...hehehe THE FARES la!!apa lagi....if u want to jimat2...you better choose the GREEN one, if you're looking for a new bus...better try the red one...
Ok...back on top...SAFETY...SAFELY...hahaha..im really sure, if you've been to Egypt..u'll know what im talking about.....have you all ever heard "LOMPAT BUS"???its not BUS LOMPAT in Malaysia....or HOP-on-HOP buses in KL la....its getting out of the bus by jumping...quite scary arrrr???this is one of the only-can-see in Egypt thing..last saturday, I've got a chance to experience myself..how to lompat into the bus..of course, how to jump out of the bus...luckily i got my brother Ariff teaching me how to do it right...actually its a matter of technique...and a little bit of agility i suppose...and of course...LUCK!...hehehe...
Cairo is an emerging city...with 80 Mil citizens living in a city...seems to me that it 'needs some air to breath'..hehehe...as for the public transportation....i felt that its really unsafe...for one to jump in...and out of the bus...(a moving one la.....)Maybe the government should do something on this..although its a tradition, i think safety is still a priority..unfortunately, we got one of our good fellas today...felt down while doing the jump....luckily he's OK...Syafaahullah (May Allah cure him quickly)....
K guys...I think thats all for today's diary....tomorrow's topic???wait and see la...

VS
Metro Cairo route map
As for today, i've been using Egypt's metro system fo
r my 1st time going back from Cairo University till Atabah station...seems that there are not many differences between our LRT system conducted by RapidKL and the one they've been using here in Cairo...
Malaysian LRT
Metro Cairo
Among the differences, which i've spotted along my journey is that...
1)The metro trains are really long....imagine..8 coaches for a train....!!in Malaysia only 4 ma...perghhh...
2)This coaches are divided into 2...normal and ladies coach..good for cairo..80 mil citizens...at least the government has its concern for women..hehe
3)The doors of these Metros opens and closes really quick..you should run for it!!
4)Most important thing is the tickets...here in Cairo, you just pay LE1 for any
station you wish to stop..
5)Dont ever lost your tickets as they cost LE 15 if its lost...hehehe..pity on zulkarnain...
RapidKL LRT tickets
Metro Cairo tickets
6)You can even see people performing their prayers on these stations...a thing which hardly could be seen in Malaysia..Subhanallah...
